Anna Molinari was inspired by Rosella Tarabini’s “Lou Lou goes on vacanza with a trunk of white and gold.”
Lou Lou also had a variety of patterns, Pierrot outfits, flowery appliqués, and any paillette she could locate in her suitcase.
Frilly polka-dotted gowns, “I love you” printed chiffon numbers, and provençial blooms on devore velvet were presented alongside gold leather ensembles.
Tarabini described her collection as “pure St. Tropez,” yet many of her designs would fit right in with Rio de Janeiro’s vibrant and spectacular festivals.
