In the context of post-war misery and rationing, Dior had a single obsession: to help women rediscover joy, elegance and beauty. In just ten years, from 1947 to 1957, Christian Dior revolutionized the codes of elegance and femininity, imagining his collections as marvelous dreams.
The man who wanted to become an architect offered women his vision of beauty through elegant lines, until he became the symbol of French luxury throughout the world.
