Byblos, a prominent Italian fashion house, is known for its extensive interest in new fabric design development.
It has been run by many of the most famous names in fashion history.
Byblos, taking its name after a hotel in Saint Tropez, France, the line catered to a youthful clientele with its vibrant, but classic designs that fit well with the Genny image.
In order to propagate its new line, the brothers hired a then-unknown designer named Gianni Versace, who was responsible for creating the majority of Byblos’ first clothing collections.
Guy Paulin also assisted as one of the principal designers.
